You use the Admin App, CLI commands, or REST API methods to add groups from your identity providers to your system.

Note: Only groups with the attribute objectClass=groupOfNames are supported.

Admin App instructions

  1. Select Dashboard > Configuration.
  2. Click Security.
  3. On the Groups tab, click Create.
  4. Select an identity provider and type a string on which to query the identity provider for groups.
  5. Click Discover Groups.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Select one or more roles to associate with the group.
  8. Click Create.
