Uploading client certificates manually

If a client such as a storage component does not have a trusted SSL certificate, you can upload it manually.

Admin App instructions

  1. Retrieve the SSL certificate from your client.
  2. In the Admin App, click Configuration.
  3. Click Certificates.
  4. On the Client tab, click Upload Client Certificate.
  5. Drag the certificate file into the Upload Certificate box.
  6. Refresh the certificate by doing one of the following:
    • Use the Object Storage Management MAPI method POST /certificates/refresh
    • Click Services, select and repair the S3 Gateway service, and then select and repair the MAPI Gateway service.
You can now use the Object Storage Management application to create the storage component. Use the option HTTPS and the same host name as in the uploaded SSL certificate.
