Retrieving the client certificate for an HCP S Series Node

It's best to use valid SSL certificates from a trusted certificate authority. If an HCP S Series Node storage component uses another kind of certificate, you can retrieve the certificate and upload it manually. This procedure uses the Firefox browser.

  1. Go to the HCP S Series Node management interface at https://host:8000/
    where host is the host name of the management system.
  2. Right click and select Page Info.
  3. Select Security and click View Certificate.
  4. Click the Details tab.
  5. Click Export, select a download location, and click Save.
The certificate is retrieved.
Upload the client certificate manually into the HCP for cloud scale system.
