When you delete an object, the object is removed from the bucket and a delete marker is created, allowing you to restore it at a later time. See Displaying deleted objects and directories and Restoring a deleted object.

To delete an object:

  1. From the Buckets page, select the bucket containing the object you want to delete.
  2. Click the more icon at the righthand side of the object.
  3. Click Delete.
    The object is deleted from the bucket.
