Business Continuity Manager CLI commands are run using the permissions of the user who logged in to z/OSMF in order to start the BCM Web API server. For this reason, assign permission to run Business Continuity Manager CLI commands to the user who starts the BCM Web API server.

To assign permission to run Business Continuity Manager CLI commands to a user, you must configure settings for the basic access control function (RACF settings). Refer to the Hitachi Business Continuity Manager Installation Guide, and assign access permissions to users who will start the BCM Web API server.

If a user who starts the BCM Web API server has not been assigned any permission to run Business Continuity Manager CLI commands, the BCM Web API server outputs the YK7408E message and ends in an error.
