Configuration files created in an older version of Business Continuity Manager can be used in a newer version as they are. However, once you edit the configuration files created in an older version of Business Continuity Manager by using a newer version, the older version can no longer read those configuration files.
Therefore, in an environment where multiple versions of Business Continuity Manager exist, Hitachi recommends that you use different configuration files for each version of Business Continuity Manager.
