You can use a web browser to install Business Continuity Manager by using the z/OS Management Facility (z/OSMF) workflow.
During installation by using the z/OSMF workflow, you will create a dataset for installation and set up an environment by specifying a directory on z/OS File System (zFS) and a z/OS dataset prefix. Therefore, to perform installation by using the z/OSMF workflow, you must set up RACF. The following table shows the permissions required for each operation.

#1 By connecting the user ID of the user who performs installation to the IZUUSER group created by running the IZUSEC job, you can grant the user permission to perform all of the core functions of z/OSMF. For details, see the IBM manual z/OS Management Facility Configuration Guide.
#2 For the specified zFS path and prefix, create a directory as follows. (Note that the value of nnnnnn varies depending on the version.)
-
On zFS: Create a file in zFS path/prefix.Vnnnnnn.
-
On z/OS: Create dataset in prefix.Vnnnnnn.
#3 The console name is the TSO user ID followed by a C.
#4 This is required if the FACILITY class profile that protects the target entity is already defined.
#5 This is required if you are registering a license by using a license key file.
